-
- well, really no offence mate, but your phrase comments itself.
-
- if some people wouldn't pretend to shoot sentences about what they dont have
- idea about, we all would live better in c.s.a.x.
-
- I guess that yours (the copper.library / copper API) was a *question* of a
- user, so you deserve a reply:
-
- the utility of the copper is being realtime, so a "copper.library" would
- become totally useless in the moment that the copperlist that it has to
- simulate becomes useful.
-
- It's all automagic (besides that anyway only a 24bit display could emulate
- the copperlist: of course forget "realtime" or "useful" words too).
-
- Why daddy Jay Miner made the copper?
-
- You are asking for Cray.library or SiliconGraphics.library and they can be done,
- for the joy of "C++" *abstract and virtualizated hardware programming* genious.
-
- Then, play with the useless toy and smile..
-
- And, soon or late, let talk only who knows what he's talking about.
-
- (it was not a flame for you, but for C++ "I dont know what the computer is
- doing, but I wrote the program" hopeless theorists).
-
- >>The thing that makes the Amiga viable is the OS. No other machine runs with

-
- Use "No one" only for the pseudo users and pseudo "programmers" like you.
- The programmers that make games/demos executables other than WORDs, care indeed.
-
- >> They just want good fast software for as
- >>little cost as possible. This is what the Amiga does best and always has.
-
- >Ahh.. but is this not partially due to the chipset and how much the OS
- >and chipset interact with each other?
-
- yeah.
-
- You know how you can open a 1024*768 logical screen on Amiga, and scroll it on
- a 640*512 physical screen? 50 frames / sec scroll, with 0 CPU or AGA time.
-
- On a SVGA the scroll would be 2 frames / sec, with 100% CPU and SVGA use.
-
-
- Should I continue? it makes me sad indeed...
